Welcome to Orrville Elementary School

Orrville Elementary School (OES) opened in 2010 and serves students from Preschool through 4th grade. Our facility includes 35 classrooms, small group instruction spaces, a library, cafeteria, gymnasium, and administrative offices. Each classroom is equipped with Clevertouch interactive boards and sound systems to support engaging, modern instruction. Students in grades K–4 are provided with 1:1 Chromebook devices to enhance their learning experience.

OES also features two developmentally appropriate playgrounds—one for students in grades K–1 and another for those in grades 2–4—offering safe, age-appropriate spaces for play and physical activity.

Our dedicated staff is committed to creating a caring and supportive learning environment that emphasizes both academic excellence and strong character development. Using research-based instructional practices, our educators work to ensure that every child has access to high-quality learning opportunities. Character education is a key component of our school culture, guided by our "Character Word of the Month" program which helps shape positive student behavior and school-wide expectations.

We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for student success. Open and ongoing communication with families is encouraged, and we welcome your calls, emails, and questions. Parents are invited to take an active role in school life by participating in events, activities, and our PTO.

As the only elementary school in the Orrville City School District, we are proud to be our students’ first school experience. We take that responsibility seriously and are committed to making it a positive and lasting one. Our goal is to provide every student with the best possible start to their educational journey.
