Orrville City Schools is proud to partner with Heartland Education Community, Inc. for Character Awareness Night during Friday night’s football game as the Red Riders take on Canton South.

Character education remains an important part of helping students grow both in and out of the classroom. Heartland’s mission focuses on shifting the responsibility for education beyond the school and engaging the entire community in supporting young people.

Heartland Education Community, Inc. was formed to leverage the talents and resources of the Orrville community to improve education. Its work is designed to strengthen partnerships among schools, businesses, nonprofit organizations, parents, churches, and other community members.

Friday night’s event gives us an opportunity to celebrate the values that help build strong students and a strong community while recognizing the many community partnerships that support Orrville students.

We are grateful for Heartland Education Community, Inc. and its continued commitment to character development, education, and community partnership.
